“Moving Forward Together, For a Better Today and Tomorrow”

    About GSP

The Good Samaritan Project (GSP) is a community-based nonprofit dedicated to strengthening families, building confident youth, and creating long-term stability in Greater Lafayette.

While many organizations serve families through individual programs such as food support, childcare, youth development, or parenting resources, the Good Samaritan Project takes a whole-family approach. We recognize that families do not live in silos. True stability happens when parents, children, resources, and community support are aligned and working together.

Through our It Takes A Village family transformation initiative and other programs, GSP walks alongside families with consistency, structure, and dignity. We connect the dots between services, provide practical and relational support, and help families build direction, accountability, and resilience over time.

Our work is rooted in faith, discipline, service, and legacy. We do not offer quick fixes or one-time interventions. We build sustainable systems that support families as they grow stronger together—because healthy families are the foundation of healthy communities.

Founded and led by Paula Eve Davis, GSP is committed to presence, partnership, and long-termimpact, serving families with respect, clarity, and purpose.

    Luke 10:30-37

Jesus replied, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who stripped him and beat him and departed, leaving him half dead.

Now by chance, a priest was going down that road, and when he saw him he passed by on the other side. So likewise a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side.

But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion. He went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him. And the next day he took out two silver coins and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, ‘Take care of him, and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back.’

Which of these three, do you think, proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell among the robbers?” He said, “The one who showed him mercy.” And Jesus said to him, “You go, and do likewise.”
