Paula Davis is the founder of the Good Samaritan project and organizer of Lafayette's community Kwanzaa Celebration. The first Kwanzaa celebration she helped organize in Lafayette was in 1995.
Local residents volunteered with Toys for Tots preparing donations for the holiday season.
Several are spending their day of giving helping to prepare toys for children this holiday season. Toys for Tots says they're expecting around 70 to 80 volunteers by the end of the day.
