If you’re a teacher, retired educator, tutor, coach, or mentor — you belong in this room.

We’re building something big for Greater Lafayette’s youth, and we need passionate leaders like YOU to help make it happen.

What’s This All About?

We’re kicking off the 2025–26 school year with two dynamic youth programs — and we want you on the frontlines of impact:

NIA Performing Arts Collective

A powerful space where kids explore purpose through drama, dance, music, and cultural expression.

YES GRIT (Youth Empowered for Success: God, Resilience, Integrity, Tenacity)

An empowering program that builds fitness, character, and academic strength — while keeping youth drug-free and focused.

What to Expect at the Call-Out Mixer:

Let’s create spaces where kids can thrive — with your guidance, mentorship, and heart.

Who should attend?

Anyone passionate about youth development, education, and empowerment! This includes:

• Current or retired educators

• Tutors (private or school-based)

• Coaches or fitness instructors

• Mentors or youth workers

• Community leaders who care about equity and growth

What’s on the agenda?

• Overview of NIA Performing Arts and YES GRIT

• Opportunities to volunteer or partner

• Connect with other like-minded educators and leaders

• Complimentary appetizers and casual conversation

Is there a cost to attend?

Nope! The event is completely free — and we’re even covering appetizers at BRU Burger!

Do I need to RSVP?

Yes, please! RSVPs help us prepare a welcoming space and enough food.

RSVP by August 23.

Can I bring a friend or colleague?

Absolutely! Feel free to invite others who might be interested in getting involved with youth mentorship, education, or the arts.

What if I can’t attend, but I want to help?
