The Good Samaritan Project is honored to host the Veterans History Project: Remembering Our Veterans on Friday, November 15 at the Courtyard by Marriott Lafayette, 150 Fairington Ave, Lafayette, IN.
This special gathering will celebrate the courage, service, and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes. Together, we will share a meal, honor veterans, and record their stories to be preserved by the Library of Congress.
Preserving Stories, Honoring Service
Every veteran’s journey matters. Whether you served in combat, support, or peacetime, your story is a vital part of America’s history. At this event, trained volunteers will conduct live interviews with veterans, ensuring their voices and experiences are recorded, honored, and passed down for future generations.
We will also gather for brunch as a community—an opportunity to connect, reflect, and celebrate the lives of those who defended our freedoms.
Inclusive Voices
We welcome all veterans of all backgrounds—Black, white, Hispanic, Asian, Indigenous, women, and more. This is the America you defended. Let’s make sure it reflects your voice.
